Butter 2 Tablespoons
Pumpkin puree 1/2 cup
Granulated sugar 1/4 cup
Nutmeg 1/4 teaspoon
Salt 1/2 teaspoons
Egg 1
Active dry yeast 2 1/4 teaspoon
All purpose flour 1 cups
Bread flour 1 1/3 cups
Butter 6 Tablespoons
Vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
Dark brown sugar 1/2 cup
Cinnamon 1 tablespoon
Nutmeg 1/2 teaspoon
Allspice 1/2 teaspoon
Ginger 1/4 teaspoon
Cloves 1/4 teaspoon

Maple Cream Cheese Frosting

Cream cheese 4 oz
Confectioners sugar 2/3 cup
Maple syrup 3 tablespoons
Vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
Oat milk Tablespoon 1
Cinnamon 1 tablespoons

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, heat the oat milk and butter over medium heat until the butter melts and the mixture reaches 105-115°F. Remove from heat.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the warm oat milk mixture, pumpkin puree, granulated sugar, nutmeg, salt, and egg until well combined.
  3. Sprinkle the active dry yeast over the wet mixture and let it sit for 5-10 minutes until it becomes frothy.
  4. Gradually mix in the all-purpose flour and bread flour. Knead the dough for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a damp towel, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 to 1 1/2 hours, or until doubled in size.
  6. Prepare the filling by mixing together the softened butter, vanilla extract, dark brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, ginger, and cloves.
  7. Once the dough has risen, roll it out on a floured surface into a rectangle, about 1/4 inch thick. Spread the filling evenly over the dough.
  8. Tightly roll the dough into a log, starting from the long side. Cut the log into 12 equal rolls and place them in a greased baking dish.
  9. Cover the dish with a towel and let the rolls rise for another 30-45 minutes until puffed up.
  10. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Bake the rolls for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  11. While the rolls are baking, prepare the frosting by mixing together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, maple syrup, vanilla extract, oat milk, and cinnamon until smooth and creamy.
  12. Once the rolls are done baking, allow them to cool slightly before drizzling with the maple cream cheese frosting. Serve warm and enjoy!
