Ingredients

Mixed Berries Cups 1
Honey Tablespoons 1/2 – 1
Powdered Sugar Tablespoons 1
Cornstarch Tablespoons 1 – 1.5
Lemon Juice Tablespoons 1 1/2
Orange Juice Tablespoons 1
Lemon Zest Teaspoons 1
Orange Zest Teaspoons 1/2
Orange Extract Teaspoons 1/4

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the mixed berries, honey, powdered sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, and orange juice.
  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the berries break down and the mixture thickens, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the lemon zest, orange zest, and orange extract.
  4. Let the fruit filling cool before using it in your pastries.
